Core of Destruction Radio – Upgrade 4

It has been a while since I last posted some links to radio podcasts from Core of Destruction Radio here, namely mid-late September.
Time flies! So it’s time to do some more shameless auto-promotion.
During early Fall my radio show, Mari’s Cauldron, got an “upgrade”, like at school, and was shifted from friday mid afternoon to wednesday night, just before the boss’ show, Stoned Insanity. I was obviously glad about this.
So now my show is scheduled as follows:

Mari’s Cauldron Show - wednesday 8:00 pm Eastern US Time Zone – every other wednesday

Check the radio on the new cool website here : Core of Destruction Radio

As yesterday was “the wednesday” and it was my first show of 2012, I decided to make this post.
Moreover during this year I’ll change a bit the content and I’ll dedicate a bit more time to cover some beloved nasty genres like black, death, thrash metal etc. (in any shade but preferably “old-school”) relative to doom, sludge and stoner.
But my curiosity for emerging or obscure bands won’t diminish.
As a matter of facts, in my playlists I rarely include the “big” names, I prefer to give space to other bands, that I like, of course …
And this is the same attitude in my friend Von Frost as well, who is periodically contributing some killer playlists.

So, even if you have been surely bombed by end-of-the-year compilations/collections/podcasts, I shall have no pity and I’ll post several other links to podcasts of my no less than splendid shows, where a shy oldish lady rants every now and then in English with typical hillbilly Northern Italian accent …
But spreading the news about the bands is what counts!

Well, after the load that follows, I won’t bother you for a while, I promise …
(you can always go and get some other stuff from the Facebook page of the radio!)

Core of Destruction Radio - Upgrade 3

At the end of July I had posted the links to several podcasts of the shows streamed on Core of Destruction Radio.
The links were for podcasts of my show, Mari's Cauldron, as well as of the shows done several other DJs (i.e., boss Lizardmessiah, Paranoize, Cheeto, Teabag Stallone, etc.) contributing to the radio.

A few days ago I discovered that good ol' Petya listen and even likes my shows! I'm flattered of course. Let's see if I succeed in convincing him as well in becoming the official Russian DJ in this Louisiana-based internet radio ... \m/
Petya's appreciation encourages me in posting the links to some other shows/podcasts, in case there's someone else interested. I'll start with the links for my own show.

Btw, there are also two links of shows by Cheeto.

Check the link here for the name of the shows, the dj involved and the genres covered:

These are only a few of the shows posted. For older posts go and with patience check and scroll down the Core of Destruction page on Facebook.

On blog Disorderly Conduct there's a fat list of links of dj Teabag Stallone's podcasts, whose shows deal with sludge, doom, stoner, psychedelic, post-sludge-hardcore,crust and various outfits utlilizing all of those elements combined.
Get all the stuff here: http://disconduct.blogspot.com/2011/05/teabags-dcodcast.html

And get also hold of the only podcast ever made by dj -D, whose shows deal with death-grind-sludge etc.

Check the playlist here: http://disconduct.blogspot.com/2011/05/dcodcast.html

I guess you have a lot to listen to, at least for the moment ...

(N.B.; links fixed ...)

Primitive dj-ing - upgrade

Oh, someone (Flatlined) was so kind, or so fool (!), to ask for more links of my shows on Core of Destruction Radio!
Thanks, bro, you are too kind ...

The podcasts of my shows (Mari's Caldron), as well as those prepared by some other "real" DJs at the radio, are normally posted/shared on the Facebook page of the Core Of Destruction Shows.
In general the podcasts, when available, are posted basically shortly after the shows.
So feel free to go there and scroll down: eventually you'll get much stuff to download.

Anyway, here is the link to Mari's Cauldron show of July 8th 2011.
Next show will be on friday next week.

Time of my show: (every other) friday 5pm central/6pm eastern US time

But check also and primarily the other shows of this cool radio. Now there's also Cheeto having his own yummi show, and he is a real, graduated, professional DJ.

Check here to see the timing of the various live shows at the radio. All genres covered ...

Core of Destruction Radio: http://www.coreofdestruction.com

Core of Destruction Radio

I am sure you know the US internet Core of Destruction Radio, which, btw, involves several bloggers (from NOLA 504 and Disorderly Conduct).
The radio spreads around some killer underground tunes basically of any kind via the live shows of the djs and, I guess, the programmed rotation of the tracks in the rest of the hours.

So stream the radio here and check the page of the crew to see the time table of the live shows and the topics/tunes dealt with.

Eh, recently I was involved as well in this radio thing, first indirectly and then directly, in spite of the fact that I have absolutely no experience in dj-ing and the thought of it never ever passed through my mind ...
So it happens that I have my “show” (oh, gosh, I’m not used to such a Lady Gaga-ish word, lol …). It is called Mari’s Cauldron – many different genres.
Here is the timing:

Mari’s Cauldron : on friday 5pm central/6pm eastern US time

I have the show every other friday. Last show was last friday, yesterday, so next one will be in two weeks.
Due to the US time zones and due to the fact that I live in Italy, I pre-record the shows.
So I have mp3 versions of them.

In case you have nothing better to do and to listen to, I am posting here only my last two shows (2 hours long each), where apparently I lost part of my primitive dj style (although there’s much left …). But the music, and not my ranting shy voice, is the scope of it.

Mari’s Cauldron – Core of Destruction radio – June 10, 2011

Mari’s Cauldron – Core of Destruction radio – June 24, 2011
