well this is a big deal in my life.
probably the last death metal band i like that is still making music unless bolt thrower still is making albums, and if they are at this point i'd have little inclination to listen to them because they almost have to be over the hill
i don't even know what their newest release is...
those once loyal was 5 years ago? that was actually pretty good, anyone know if they're done recording music? i saw them several years ago on a tour...might've been in 2005.
anyways hail of bullets is great fuckoffffff

"those once loyal was 5 years ago"
=D
thank you!
I would just like to say that I like Bolt Thrower
Saw Bolt thrower this year. They were pretty good. Not sure about anything being recorded though.
Cheers boy, Looks like you are in love with Metal again.
Yeah, Black Adam, eventually ... ;-)
so its a hail of bullets post and i spend most of it bitching about metal and praising bolt thrower
awesome...
Thats why we love coming here,if you just posted the album and said it was good, it would be just another music blog.
By the way i know im late on this but what does LK mean? Because i always think of the blog as the shadowkick, but i never understood the LK bit.
i saw bolt thrower live this year and it was probably one of the top 3 shows ive ever been to. some of the heaviest/loudest shit ive ever heard live.
Lk = low kick. Back forward lowkick is how you do johnny cage's shadowkick. Jaci is reading this right now cursing my existence. She wanted to name this like "garon's lair of confoundity"
I like this blog even more now that the mortal kombat reference has been spelled out to everyone.
not really into hail of bullets, but wanted to give props for posting all kinds of cool shit here.
ah, its clear at last.I was always a Sub-zero and Raiden man, so i never had to learn Johnnys moves.
johnny > all
i'd fuck you all up
every single one of you, if there was any sort of tournament for it you would all know my name like you know billy mitchell's
lol, i don`t know man back in the day i was quite the pro with Sub-Zero,i was the fucking Ice master.Anyone challenged me, I ice blasted and slide kicked them back to their mommas. They came back for more, I gave them the `ol Spine rip.
everyone learned the freeze do you know how many of those i've jumped over landing perfect distance away for shadow kick? the ice blasts, get over heres and raiden spears all fell victim to the kick
it was embarrassing how good i was, i'm still convinced i was autistic
You were the Rain man of the Mortal Kombat world! I know the freeze blasts are easy to avoid (like ryu and Kens fireballs) but i had a lightness of touch with that game that meant i always wrong footed opponents with my carefully timed projectiles. I`ll have to download an emulator and see if the magic is still there. My main memory of the series is how hilariously hard it was to beat Kintaro on a hard difficulty setting.
oh god, I was a raiden man myself. and c'mon man, the ballpunch [bl + lp]. such a tricky move, loved it.
and then you'd try it on sonya and be like "damn, where's the punch?" balls or not, it still should've done SOME damage. also, it helped to duck under projectiles.
Ahhh. The ball punch split was my move. I fucking loved it. Whenever anyone had a combo going its such a great momentum killer. Plus couple that with a high punch mash then get him in the corner with double kicks. Its over.
