but i'm asking that you comment. tell us if you dig something after you listen to it. tell us if you think something sucks, and you might get berated by godfather but it's all in good fun. i feel like i'm writing to a brick wall sometimes.

I had to virtually BEG for comments over at Illogical Contraption. How the hell do you know if what you're posting goes over well if no-one says 'this is ace' or 'this fucking sucks'? Be polite folks, that way you get MORE awesomeosity.

i can honestly say i'm pretty much out with metal at this point in my life
3 years ago if e.w. and allagoch leaked new albums within 2 weeks of each other i would've been pissing in my own mouth
now i've listened to e.w's first 3 tracks and still haven't checked out agalloch. i don't know whats going on with me
i like alt.country more than i do metal.
the new e-wiz is sooooo fuckin bad. it sounds like a shittier version of anything white zombie did.

haha! look, i started a new blog few months ago, and there's few people who visit it (can i say nobody visit it, hahaha) jaci, this blog is visited by a lot of people (not like my blog for example) and you're right, just some write always, but you have a captive audience, so, take it easy, at least you blog have "fans", cheers
and about the new EW's cd, three years ago, i couldn't catch the "acid bathed stuff" that electric wizard was playing, but now, i have more tolerance, and like a lot the new stuff, obviously (obviously for me) isn't a dopethrone or let us prey, but isn't bad, just get a lsd and play it loud, hahaha
if you're post doesn't suck, you'll get comments. although I can get behind the "tell me what you like" argument, but i think it's better to post whatever the fuck and if 3 people comment and are stoked it's win/win.

I'd have no problem if jed wanted to post some alt.country to be honest. that's why I liked lucid a lot, you'd get a lot of great shit [I got turned onto the wipers from there, after all], and you'd see quality posts of sweet stuff like frank black along with the melvins and sunnO))) and EW and shit. that's what makes me like a blog; I don't have to like everything on there, but there's always a few gems that will skip past me if I don't read regularly.
that being said, I'd like to have a lot more "listen" links to stuff. I mean yeah, I could go on a downloading binge, but it'd be nice to know I don't have to waste 90-150 MB on something I don't like rather than being able to stream it somewhere first and go 'yeah, I should dl and have a look.' not all bands have it, granted, but if you can help us lazy folk avoid having to go to music.myspace and search for a band name like "the the" [and the right one, mind you], it'd be pretty great.
good work though. keep posting awesome shit that pisses people off and I'll keep coming here, hoping that it's something new to dig.
[and agreed, I can't stand DM since the late 90s because everything sounds like a rehash/retread, but I'm open to being surprised].
oh and people, keep buying records from the artists that you dl and like. it's what keeps them making more. can't stress this enough.
basically the reason i want people to comment more often is to see if they like what's being posted.
personally, i post things that i like and it interests me to see if other people like it as well; also it helps me later on to pick things out to upload.
