soul

ok since everyone else stopped caring I'll post again

So I guess a new trend with hipster music snobs is to replicate authentic 1970s and 1960s r and b motown soul production. And if that's true I'm growing a mustache and moving to Brooklyn to start a Tshirt vintaging business. Where we scuff up neck collars to make new shirts look old because I highly approve and want to wear shitty sunglasses to their record release parties.

Anyways this guy Lee Fields put an album out in the 70s and was relatively forgotten about until some dickbag somewhere came across his LPs and had a brilliant idea. Find out if hes alive and produce a record with him.

It turns out black people used to play instruments before synthesizers and used to sing before talk boxes and auto tune. And if I can address black people at this time I'd just like to say 1) please fucking go back to making the best music EVER 2) I love your work on Lockup. Music like this makes me want to hug Lenny Kravitz and say "it's ok I forgive you"

I suggest downloading this if you like Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, James Brown, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Bobby Womack or any other of the best musical acts ever. And yes I'm including Bobby Womack solely for his work in the Across 110th street soundtrack. This is a perfect record for the summer. Between Lee, Quentin Tarantino Soundtracks and the Dap Kings there could be an amazing surge of great music revival acts. Or someone will fuck it up. Speaking of which Torche re-released Meanderthal on lp. If any of you wanna purchase that just send some money to a charity because you have too fucking much of it. No disrespect to RoboticEmpire because I've sent them a (broke)kings ransom for their goods over the years.

If you don't like this kind of music you either will in a couple years when your nuts drop or you should probably just delete/sell your music collection because you are fucking awful.
