A Collapse of Faith

New October Falls full length. 3 long and excellent tracks. Like Womb of Primordial Nature, this album is much more metal than folk.

Heavy as the Nile’s flow …

They’ve got Egyptian names like Nile but they sound more like Morbid Angel.
Khert-Neter, from Finland, started as a side project, Kalmisto, by members of black metal bands Pest and Horna. Then changed the name into Egyptian Khert-Neter. They are officially still active.
Not that much Egypt actually, except for a few oriental melodies here and there and above all for the heavyness recalling the slow course of a monster river: slow-midspeed death metal with awesome, headbang-worthy guitar riffs, muscular vocals and terrific melodies.

Total death

“Statement: SLUGATHOR means? TOTAL DEATH! The name goes far beyond than just a word that you can search from your dictionary. Slugathor delivers destruction, disorder and evilness in form of musick. So don..t ask what "Slugathor" means!

We are following the steps of our ancestors... Do not use the term "old school" because it doesnt tell anything about our music anyway. We ARE Death Metal thats all you need to know.” (myspace)

From Finland, and this is their last album, Echoes from Beneath (2009).
