Khert-Neter, from Finland, started as a side project, Kalmisto, by members of black metal bands Pest and Horna. Then changed the name into Egyptian Khert-Neter. They are officially still active.
Not that much Egypt actually, except for a few oriental melodies here and there and above all for the heavyness recalling the slow course of a monster river: slow-midspeed death metal with awesome, headbang-worthy guitar riffs, muscular vocals and terrific melodies.
