Abrasive.

Årabrot is named after a garbage dump off the west coast of Norway. The first two Årabrot albums and their e.p. were produced by Billy Anderson (Melvins, Neurosis, Sleep). The third full length was produced by Steve Albini. Their sound has been compared to Birthday Party-era Nick Cave, Ministry, & Captain Beefheart. If Am. Rep. had a "black metal department" they would be at the top.

Sucks I never heard of Versoma till they broke up and formed Tombs and this band. I got this from rawnerve and since I chipped one of my back premolars I've been in a fuck you all kind of mood. The drugs don't work, but this album works just fucking fine. They site influence in everything from Unwound to Spacemen 3.
