pitchfork crushed this, i disagree, but what the fuck do i know? kanye west released the best album last year according to them so apparently i'm the fuckhead.
i think its unfair, they called it all over the place style wise, i guess they wanted the same song 12 times? i guess showing a shred of dynamics from song to song is a mistake. oh well at least they give the roots really good reviews.

at the risk of over saturating the blog in one weekend i'm going to post something that i really like
joanna is a 27 year old girl of my dreams, she plays harp and the piano and makes devastatingly good music. i fall in love with girl musicians so easily, there's something so great about a girl with an actual talent/job that anyone could possibly give a shit about. imagine all the wah-pantsing about work from a girl being replaced with her talking about the frustration from writing a fucking great album? she's got a great voice coupled with fucking heart wrenching harp music, watching her play it is nothing short of enchanting, she's a girl who does something INTERESTING.


anyways oldham and albini kinda launched this broad by touring with her and working on her album respectively, which is hard because respecting a woman is fucking impossible (yes i went looking on wiki just to figure out how to set up a joke about women being garbage and came up with an excuse to name billy and a key name that everyone delights over)

i digress, which is all i do. so unlike most stupid girls with dumb lives that we're all forced to fuck joanna can keep my interest for more than dick bursts at a time, i bet her breathe smells like icicles.

heres something much better than a sludge stoner metal band that had a member who used to be in a band everyone pretends to like but doesn't really listen to that much

descended like vultures was my favorite indy rock album from 2005 that i can think of right now and since i have no real way of comparing it to others unless i organize my collection on zune by year and going to 20AAAGH

so anyways hey this band was good 5 years ago so they have to be good now right? i'll forgive you if you aren't overwhelmed with delight for the prospect of a band some shithead said used to be good. but they used to be on subpop (which means they automatically get at least a 6 on pitchfork) if you go to the wiki for this band the lead singer has a cute story about buying a one way ticket and being a run away train never coming back and all that shit that if he was played by a impossibly handsome hairless queer and acted forcefully quirky and does a semi-convincing job of having a different outlook on life while wearing wool and flannel than stupid pigs would line up to suck this guys dick trough. unfortunately the guy looks like a 5'7 dirk nowitski so he's piss out of luck...holy shit dirk nowitski looks like the lead singer of spin doctors and that one guy from pcu the guy with the frisbee thaAAAGH

on a sort of defeatng sidenote i was looking at a completely different band picture and the guy looks like jeremy shockey with hiv. for those of you who don't watch sports i guess you should probably just skip every thing i type ever.

seriously thats like the hottest thing ever, i'm 26 years old and i'm completely convinced i'm going to be dead before i'm 28. its the scariest thing in the world, not an ounce of me can even envision what life would be like at 30, i just bought 210$ worth of shoes though, so at least if and when i die my parents will know what to put on my moron feet. typing this in a final paragraph i know people won't read helps a lot i guess. i also like to think the girl on the album cover is the same broad from the deftones around the fur album cover which i might have jerked off to more times than i rambled on in this shitshow some people would call a reviAAAAGH!!!
