whats the most embarrassing thing about back to back folky metal black posts?
the fact i might make it 3 in a row. if i connect four i'm just gonna quit.

is there anything more embarrassing on earth than looking up photos of black metal bands you like? granted this band isn't top 1500 all time bad, but black metal dudes all look really really silly. it almost completely kills the music for me.

for instance: the first 3 pictures of moonsorrow on google image search of the actual band not album covers ALL FEATURE SWORDS AND SHIELDS. vikings didn't wear camo shorts you chesters, either put down the swords or fucking stop wearing your london fog leather jackets.

anyways back to stupid name here, they list this band as progressive black folk metal, that in itself makes my heart want to die. how can something be prog and folk, does that make any sense to anyone? a viking riding a segway? lolcat decrees of fiefdom "I HAZ UR LAND". anyways the music is actually really good, this is my favorite "menacey keyboard" act in black metal

Andreas "Vintersorg" Hedlund made it back for this album, thank god too i was worrying his day job at the Fredrikstad bestbuy was becoming too much, lets hope it doesn't strain the quality of the music. which brings me to my favorite space ghost quote of all time.
