speaking of assholes, metallica has forever worshiped this band diamond head, and covered many of their songs over the years, the most popular probably being  'am i evil' on their garage inc. album. mr. venikov sent me this album yesterday [thank you, sir.] total NWOBHM. total awesome.

diamond head apparently had a 'lack of success' and wikipedia seems to believe that a large factor to blame was that their manager was the owner of a cardboard box factory.
