The French are not strangers to complex music, especially when it comes to black metal. As much as this album references a common dissonance and melody, it is ultimately a challenging listen. Ready for a confrontation.
seems like USBM is dedicated to keeping it parochial with the fixation on rawness and immediacy
on the other hand, French BM seems to be on top of breaking down every possible limitation while cross-pollinating the genre with anything and everything possible

They're scared to do anything which may go out of the box and still trying to prove themselves, Whereas the Frogs just do not give a rat's arse.
Huge DHG vibe on this, fantastic stuff.
