I reasonably like prog rock and metal, and I like the type of sound that Tool are able to produce.
But it is really tiring to wait for the inspiration to come to Maynard James Keenan and his bunch for new releases.
So I’m glad when I find other bands that share that sound with Tool. As it is the case with Prisma, a fine prog metal band from Zurich, Switzerland.
Maybe the voice of the singer recalls a bit Keenan’s voice, but that is not enough to call Prisma a clone of Tool. I find they are much better than a clone.
As far as I happened to see they’ve only made this album. I’m waiting for a new one, hopefully soon.
They will be in my city (Milano) next month. I hope to see them, as apparently their live exhibitions are quite rich.

Mmmm, so it's better you stay away from these guys ... or else they stay away from you ...
Holy crap! Listen to the intro on the track 'Over bodies and cases' and compare it to the intro of Tool's 'Ticks and Leeches'. Striking similarities.
