negative hate - demo

so i can't even find any information on this band, let alone a friggin picture.


negative hate was a band around in '03-'04ish, from new jersey. i saw them in some tiny shithole in northern nj and liked them so much that i bought a copy of their demo, which was just a burnt disc folded up in a xeroxed piece of purple paper. shit, i might even still have it somewhere.


their sound is really hard to describe, especially for someone who doesn't know dick about writing about music like me, but they're really heavy, with a lot of surprising yet pleasing change-ups in the song structure. they have a few samples of something that sounds vageuly middle eastern thrown in there. it's kind of a trip to listen to because you never know what they're gonna throw at you next and every track is interesting.


think the #12 looks like you's first album, minus a faggot vocalist, if they were actually good and almost didn't rely on the drummer to carry them through their songs.


tracks 6 and 7 are particularly enjoyable.
