I Not Dance - So You Think You Can Stop Me and Spit in My Eyes (2009)

i hate to say this but:

1. i tried this band based solely on how great the name of their album is and

2.i think this band might be considered hardcore/screamo or as some of you awful pieces of shit know it as "screamocore"

which a lot of you know already turns me off to them and giving them a fair review less i feel like i'm giving two shit dead genres that never should've started and were only good 10 years ago and even then 90% of it sucked a chance. then it started out with a really good opening track complete with an any given sunday sample, which is one of my favorite movies ever.

straight outta austria like schwarzenegger, which is another stupid connection between me and conan in the last couple days, seriously underrated movie. the acting is substandard, but even the fight scenes hold up to present day, which is odd considering how bad arnold movies after it look(demolition man) by todays standards.

hey look jed got off topic about nothing anyone cares about again. so yeah hardcore screamo? i guess? sounds like a better engineered converge, take that for what it is because i never listen to this type of music and with good reason, holy shit does it suck for the most part.


i'm on my third site reading about this band waiting for it to give me a reason to compare it to swarm of locust/mastodon other than what i think it sounds like, i guess i just don't listen to enough music like this, so to me it sounds like converge doing a mastodon thing, except not like their last shitty album and it sounds pretty good, or its just well-worn shit and i just like it because of the name.
