Weigh the most hyped follow-up of the year to the most consistent label of the year, add some vehement skepticism, and top off with Colin Marston's persistence.
I second all that has been said here about these guys. Nicer bunch of guys you won't find, especially Lev. And besides that, they fucking SLAY live. I've never seen a live act better than Krallice.
Anon: there is no point in arguing here, you clearly have some sort of paranoid maternal affectation towards the band where you are unable to see past any comments especially ones directed at the bands' social circle as previously pointed out above.
This release was very much hyped - which doesn't much pertain to hipsterdom as it does hype [ as written in the tags ]. Hipsterdom as I will point out again, refers to the social circle of the band, not the band itself.
And yes, it is Eastern-European humor that you can't grasp, because Lev clearly would get it, as you don't.
Petya V: you don't know me so refrain from your condescending attitude. You explained yourself, that is great. A grown-up human who listens to metal, who knew?!
And for the record, humor like yours usually get people shot in my part of the country. Yes, Redneck fucking Holyland.
Godfather: like hell you're not anonymous behind your own nick? What would this change?
You can refer to me as "Paranoid Maternally Affected" for all I care. I do love my mom.
Please read over my post again, when I wrote "you clearly have some sort of paranoid maternal affectation towards the band", i meant just that, i wasn't implying that you had issues with ones' mom, but you were "motherly" towards the band - hence "paranoid maternal affectation towards the band". I meant it sincerely, without condescension, which is an unfortunate task to communicate over the internet.
"You explained yourself, that is great. A grown-up human who listens to metal, who knew?!"
Not sure if the two are inter-related, but thanks :)
"And for the record, humor like yours usually get people shot in my part of the country. Yes, Redneck fucking Holyland."
What humor is that? Calling people from Brooklyn hipsters? [ again, social circle of the band, not the band itself ] Why would people from "Redneck fucking Holyland" as you put it, get upset at that?
As I said before, it seems, you are taking this quite personally, and it isn't intended as such; there's no evil wished on the band, you, or even hipsters [although they are humorously inane individuals] - i invite you to DL the album, put it on and enjoy what Mr. Marston and Co. have provided for us; if you are satisfied, please don't hesitate to purchase the album.

Thanks for this Petya. Never quite got the hipster thing with this band, if Mick Barr and Colin Marston are hip then I need to fix my radar.
Mick Barr on guitar is the equivalent to the next door neighbour's dog barking loudly and often, not a big bruiser but a whiny yappy dog.
That being said, thankyou.
Oh and Krallice are as hip as H & M.
they are good guys, it's just the circles they run in, i guess it comes with the territory.
Aye sir, to be sure.
Whatever you guys say, this band is fucking awesome and the dudes are amazingly friendly and the most down-to-earth guys you will ever meet.
I don't care if they are hip or not, it's excellent stuff.
And if they are that hip, why the fuck do they play shows in front of 20 fuckers in the middle of buttfucknowhere?
Anon - read my comment above, the 'hipster reference' isn't applied to the band.
Great blog, thanks for the words and music. Love the artwork for this record, love the last album, looking forward to it. MxBx
Petya V in the house dishing out brutality to anons who cannot read.

Nice blog, by the way.
Hey, Godfather, you dumbass, I'm pretty much sure I can write whole sentences with the right punctuation, unlike you.
Petya V: How come I see labels such as "Hipsterdom" and "hyped" on your post, if that isn't a "hipster reference" applied to the band?
Explain that one, either you are a prime-grade hypocrite or just have that eastern-european humor that I can't grasp.
And KK is right: Lev is a fucking cool dude.

Why is this guy so jumpy and upset, if you'd care to post non anonymously, that would be great.

Btw, if you care: your blog is awesome.
