so shabazz palaces sucked dicks through 2 pairs of jeans. going in the opposite direction and giving a fuck about the listener's experience allow me to write some horseshit about Harlem. Harlem sounds like the kinks, now before you x out in rage because you heard someone tell you that the strokes and the killers also sound like the kinks i assure you that those bands are twats and this band is not.
this band is incredibly catchy, they actually write a song thinking lets make something someone will enjoy rather than lets punish our audience because we want to make a song be more than what it should be. I didn't love every track on this record but it was definitely a lot more hits than misses.
if you hate everything hipster than i'm sure this is included. guitar rock reapplied sounds like 4 things, sabbath talking heads zeppelin or the kinks. this band would be the last of those options. and i don't even like the kinks.
