poogayzi

this is an honest question? would anyone notice if busta rhymes never happened?

i'm not a timbaland fan by any real margin but he supplied at worst nominal beats and busta has consistently turned them into boring fucking masturbation of pace just to prove that he can rap fast. does he say anything? i don't even hate the fucking guy but its just like. what the fuck are we doing? why feed him? he refers to himself as the best rapper alive. is he kidding? i know every rapper says something to this effect but he was the 4th best rapper in the tribe called quest - scenario track. he's been famous yet socially obscure. no one has ever really taken him seriously in any sort of capacity. for him to sing his own praises is like greg kinear getting in someone's face about his acting chops. its disgusting and misplaced and honestly busta rhymes its been enough.

anyways wu tang clan happened and i genuinely loved them for a long period of time but their solo careers and the lack of odb being alive has widely killed their spot in my heart for them.

fugazi is one of those bands i swear i love and i honestly think i've spent days not hours listening to them. but then i don't really recognize more than 10 of their songs when i play them and i only really listen to 2 of their albums but yet keep them all on standby just in case today is the day i randomly decide to listen to 13 songs or red medicine. i really wanna see them live. it will never happen, i imagine i hate their fans more than i hate nickelback fans.

...ok then so some hack on the internet to mix the two up with no real rhyme or reason. some of these songs are from their solo cds, some group. this trend of course started with the gray album a combination of jay-z's retirement record (that he released 3 lackluster albums ago) and the white album by the beatles and mixed them in some farty mash up pile of fuck that college kids ate up as a way to finally say they listened to the white album outside of back to the ussr. it sucked and i don't know if this is worse. the blueprint song matches up well with the rapping i guess. post hardcore indy rock doesn't mesh well with rap. but then again it probably shouldn't mesh with anything. http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

mash ups are heartless creations by the talentless. i feel like they figured out the name wugazi before they really hashed out the idea. i can't fucking do this my whole life. if music like this is more readily acceptable than other acts that people give a shit about then honestly lets burn every instrument we can fucking find. because everyone has let each other down and its everyone's fucking fault.
