if you're like me you read this bands name and quietly mouthed the word "homos" to yourself, then you thought of how "afar" rhymes with "jafar".
if you're like me you saw their album cover and thought, well this is gonna be horse shit. but then something weird happened 1:30 seconds into what sounded like a boring ...and you will know us by the trail of dead song.
this band got awesome. instrumental layered compounded greatness. the drummer seems to be a star, he should be in dream theater, or he couldn't what the fuck do i know. but the motherfucker is clearly adept at what he does. the first song is called set guitars to kill and the song is so good it talked me into liking the song title.
think hella but less silly. really complex sounds, really driven music with lots of talent behind the workings
