most anticipated 2009 release

the lips are one of my favorite bands of all time and easily the best live performance i've ever seen and it has 0 to do with the theatrics of the band but just the quality of music and the execution of there of

haven't heard this
i love the idea of new flaming lips material, 18 tracks of delight and an accompanying dvd is just a furious win
i love the fact they will tour again and play this live again that much more
their last cd is a top 10 cd of all time for me i have high expectations from this band

if you haven't heard anything besides vaseline than you really need to check yourself because you are wrecking yourself

the flaming lips - embryonic

wayne has a very stout ego, but i do love the lips and they are very fun live. i wish they would have left the oklahoma state song alone, though.

At War With The Mystics was crap. BUT Yoshimi, The Soft Bulletin, and Clouds Taste Metallic were enough to make them one of my favorite bands ever at all.

Floodbart: I'd take Wayne's ego over River's or Liam's ego any day of the week, but yes I agree, awesome live stuff!

They should have named this album "Still Birth" because it was dead on arrival.
