can you imagine anything more awesome than blistering fast riffs backed by a full orchestra? listening to this band makes me want to cover my arms with gauntlets spiked with nails, fall to my knees in a dark stone church and scream at the top of my lungs to scare the bats out of the belfry before wrecking everything in sight with a battle axe. this is probably what james was picturing in his head before metallica recorded S&M but we all know how that turned out.
wikipedia calls new obscurantis order their 'most groundbreaking release.' i haven't heard anything but this, so if anyone else has other albums, please share.
